Philosophy
The act of designing and building is a life-long learning. It must be full of generosity and knowledge. It must also be responsible and sustainable. The particular context on the island of Saint Barthélemy brings a singular color to our exercise. Its history, its heritage, its climatic context, its isolation, are, for the island architect, as many enriching particularities to take into account. Sensitive and aware of the quality and charm of the vernacular architecture of the island, we are inspired by its identity to create the spaces of today. We acquired a mastery of the territory, the tropical way of life, its climatic constraints and benefit from a recognized know-how.
How to assemble the data of an individual territory to a project each time just as unique?
Our role is in the process is precisely this, to answer the question by translating your words, your feelings, your desires and your needs into living spaces that are similar to reflect you and adapt to the territory both in its constraints and in its assets. The alchemy of place and desires are what make each project unique.
"The act of designing and building is a life-long learning."
